Lelli’s paintings evoke times long lost, but not forgotten. She depicts dream-like landscapes with trees, birds, flowers and fields. The scenes are from here homeland Brazil, influenced by her idyllic childhood there; in the remote countryside in the state of Paraná where she lived with her parents Prince Pedro Henrique de Orleans e Bragança and Princess Maria da Baviera de Orleans e Bragança. Lelli, as she is fondly known, is a princess in the former royal family of Brazil. She is in fact a sister of Don Luis de Orleans e Bragança, the Prince who would be the present ruler of Brazil had the monarchy continued.

After a long journey in Europe where she completed art studies at the Van der Kelen School of Painting in Belgium, she returned to Brazil and started painting her majestic landscapes. Her style being greatly influenced by the years spent in Europe. Using acrylic paint and Brazilian oil with both huge and small brushes, landscapes take up the walls and almost reach the ceiling. In these eternally still paintings, she has captured the elaborated loveliness of a daydream, scenes in which your spirit can drift and find rest.
